Steede Riccardo Oristolle Chinan was born on November 14, 19?? in Surrey, England. At the age of four, he and his mother migrated to America, more specifically Hartford, Connecticut. His mother was always playing music from Luther Vandross to Marvin Gaye to Bob Marley, so it’s no wonder his soul was enriched with great music ability. However it wasn’t until 2001 the this ability was realized and he started rapping. Becoming bored and discouraged by the direction music was heading he began chopping samples and trying his hand at producing in 2004. Nowadays he is single handedly trying to raise the bar for hip-hop. Steede Chinan continues to do this with his eye-brow raising beats and lyrics that actually make sense. Soulful blends of 70’s R&B and modern day hip-hop make the Steede Chinan sound one that is very distinct.
